Oh Christmas Tree!

This past Saturday Zach and I joined our friends, the Malms, at a Christmas tree farm in Chino Hills.  For the past five years they have been getting their tree from this same farm.  The farm opens the Saturday before Thanksgiving and choosing your tree is on a first come, first serve basis.  You come, pick your tree to reserve it, and then come back anytime after Thanksgiving to cut it down – yourself.  Since this is our first Christmas as a married couple, and this is our first tree together, and we have absolutely NO ornaments, I told Zach I wanted a medium sized tree… aaannnd we ended up with an eleven foot tree – of course.  But at $68.00 we just couldn’t resist… and I can’t wait to go back and chop it down ourselves, or watch Zach chop it down. Hehehehe.
